LEMNOS INFORMATION

Lemnos is the eight biggest island of Greece with an area of 477.6 s.km. and population of 18.000. It is characterized by absence of mountain massifs, shores with large indentations, and large plains.

Administratively belongs to the department of Lesvos and along with St.Strati constitute the provinence of Lemnos. It is managed by a provincial council headed by the Prefect.
